Our community exists to help people strengthen and live out their faith in a practical and life affirming way. This happens with a number of different approaches.\u00a0We attempt to engage people with individual, family and community activities that help build the social fabric our church community and the wider communities that we live in.<\/p>\n

Why do we do this I hear you ask?\u00a0<\/b>Well most of us if we are completely honest with ourselves realise that there is more to life than just the 9 to 5 grind of work, just to earn enough money to pay the bills.\u00a0Deep down we know we were created for more.\u00a0There is a greater purpose for your life!\u00a0We here at APOK all have our unique story to tell.\u00a0But one of the things we have in common is the realisation that our lives have significance and a purpose that has an eternal consequence.\u00a0Our community here at APOK tries to help each other because we have met someone that has changed our lives in such an amazing way.\u00a0In fact this person has been in the business of changing lives for the better, for a long time and has a proven track record.\u00a0That person is Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Jesus calls us into relationship with him.\u00a0As we enter into that relationship with God the creator through faith in his son Jesus, as we receive Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour, so we begin a journey of faith that changes our lives and the lives of others in a positive way!<\/p>\n

I could talk forever about how my life and so many others lives have been changed, but I\u2019m hear to talk about the activities we do here at APOK.\u00a0The bible tells us that we should not stop meeting together (Hebrews 10:25<\/em>).\u00a0That\u2019s one of the reasons why we have so many activities.\u00a0The other reason is we just like to enjoy ourselves.\u00a0Jesus also said that he came that we might have an abundant life and that we should enjoy it! (John 10.10b<\/em>)\u00a0So get involved and enjoy it!<\/p>\n

This happens with a number of different approaches.\u00a0We attempt to engage people with individual, family and community activities that help build the social fabric our church community and the wider communities that we live in.\r\n\r\nWhy do we do this I hear you ask?\u00a0<\/b>Well most of us if we are completely honest with ourselves realise that there is more to life than just the 9 to 5 grind of work, just to earn enough money to pay the bills.\u00a0Deep down we know we were created for more.\u00a0There is a greater purpose for your life!\u00a0We here at APOK all have our unique story to tell.\u00a0But one of the things we have in common is the realisation that our lives have significance and a purpose that has an eternal consequence.\u00a0Our community here at APOK tries to help each other because we have met someone that has changed our lives in such an amazing way.\u00a0In fact this person has been in the business of changing lives for the better, for a long time and has a proven track record.\u00a0That person is Jesus Christ.\r\n\r\nJesus calls us into relationship with him.\u00a0As we enter into that relationship with God the creator through faith in his son Jesus, as we receive Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour, so we begin a journey of faith that changes our lives and the lives of others in a positive way!\r\n\r\nI could talk forever about how my life and so many others lives have been changed, but I\u2019m hear to talk about the activities we do here at APOK.\u00a0The bible tells us that we should not stop meeting together (Hebrews 10:25<\/em>).\u00a0That\u2019s one of the reasons why we have so many activities.\u00a0The other reason is we just like to enjoy ourselves.\u00a0Jesus also said that he came that we might have an abundant life and that we should enjoy it!
